While the Supreme Court had questioned the government that why it had advice second time from General chief. It has also found that court has given government the option to withdraw the order.

VK Singh had filed a plea for changing his date of birth to 1951.

According to the government documents, it has been found that both 1950 and 1951 year of birth were recorded. Now, the army chief wants that his date of birth to be modified as 1951 in all the army records.
