Soon after the Supreme Court verdict in 2G Spectrum case on Thursday, Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal and Minister of State in the PMO V Narayanasamy met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
Sibal also visited Home Minister P Chidambaram to discuss the latest development after meeting with the Prime Minister.
"Will issue a statement once I get the judgment. I am waiting for it," Sibal said after a meeting with Chidambaram.
The central government has been plunged into deep crisis following Supreme Court's decision to quash the all 122 licences issued after 2008 during A Raja's tenure.
Grabbing the opportunity with open hands, the opposition has also intensified its attack on UPA government. Opposition parties are trying to cash the verdict in this election season too.
Coming down heavily on the central government, senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley demanded immediate termination of Chidambaram form the cabinet.
